Meet Ivy

My life’s work has always centred around people.

As a local business owner, counsellor, celebrant and community advocate, I’ve spent years listening to people’s stories, helping them navigate change and showing up during some of life’s most important moments.

Now I’m ready to bring that same heart, energy and commitment to Ward 4.

Why I'm Running

I love this community, and I believe the people who live here deserve a representative who is present, approachable and willing to listen.

I’m not running because I have all the answers. I’m running because I believe good leadership starts by asking the right questions, listening to the people affected and working together to find a way forward.

I want residents of Ward 4 to know they have someone at the table who will hear them — and who isn’t afraid to speak up for them.

Ivy’s commitment is to represent the whole of Ward 4 ~ listening to the different needs of our urban, rural and lakeside residents and making sure those perspectives are brought forward.

Ward 4 is more than one place.

Ward 4 brings together historic town centres, lakeside communities, rural roads, farms, neighbourhoods and some of Georgina’s most beautiful Lake Simcoe shoreline.

From Sutton and Jackson’s Point to Virginia, Egypt and the rural areas in between, every part of Ward 4 deserves to feel seen, heard and represented.

Sutton

A historic and growing community at the heart of Ward 4 home to local businesses, families, community organizations and generations of residents who care deeply about its future.

Jackson's Point

A vibrant Lake Simcoe community known for its waterfront, history, tourism and strong neighbourhood identity — with its own opportunities and challenges worth protecting.

Rural Ward 4

Virginia, Egypt and the rural roads and agricultural areas surrounding our larger communities are an important part of Ward 4. Rural residents deserve the same access, communication and representation as those living in our town centres.

Our Lake Simcoe Shoreline

From Jackson’s Point and Franklin Beach toward Virginia and Sibbald Point, our shoreline is part of what makes this area extraordinary. Protecting access, community character and the health of Lake Simcoe matters to all of us.
